Whiz Kids

The Whiz Kids Tutoring Program provides one-to-one support for students in math and reading. Community volunteers meet to work with students for 1.5 hours (one hour of tutoring and a half hour of Club Time) once a week.

Club Time is a faith-based portion of Whiz Kids and is not an official part of the public school program. This component is optional and includes games, singing and a Christian message after tutoring.

All volunteers are vetted and trained by Whiz Kids and work closely with the school liaison to plan and implement targeted, grade-level instruction.
